Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Hamper Sorters to join our team for the upcoming peak period in Winnipeg. This is a temporary, fast-paced role crucial to ensuring our customers receive perfectly assembled hampers for special occasions. You will be responsible for accurately picking, packing, and organizing various items into gift hampers, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation. Key Responsibilities
- Accurately sort, select, and pack a variety of products into designated hampers according to specific order requirements.
- Inspect items for quality and ensure all components of the hamper are present and in excellent condition.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all company safety protocols.
- Work efficiently to meet daily production targets and deadlines during peak operational periods.
- Assist with inventory management and replenishment of packing supplies as needed.
- Communicate effectively with team leads regarding any discrepancies or issues with orders.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs consistently throughout a shift.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in sorting and packing tasks.
- Ability to work effectively and maintain focus in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to scheduled shifts.
- Basic understanding of workplace safety procedures.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse, production, or retail environment.
- Familiarity with packing or assembly line processes.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
