Job Description

We believe in investing in our talent, which is why we are funding your SIA (Security Industry Authority) license, a mandatory requirement for working in the security sector in Canada. You will receive comprehensive training and support to develop the essential skills needed to excel in this vital role. Key Responsibilities
- Complete all necessary training modules to obtain the SIA license, fully funded by GardaWorld.
- Learn and adhere to all company policies, procedures, and security protocols.
- Conduct regular patrols and monitor premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion, ensuring the security of property and personnel.
- Respond effectively to alarms and emergency situations, following established procedures.
- Report any suspicious activities or incidents to immediate supervisors and complete detailed incident reports.
- Control access to premises, including monitoring visitors and contractors.
- Maintain a visible and professional presence, acting as a deterrent to unauthorized activities.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients, visitors, and employees on site.
Required Skills
- No prior security experience required – full training provided.
- A strong desire to learn and develop a career in the security industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Basic First Aid and CPR certification (can be obtained during training).
- Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
- Previous experience in customer service or a public-facing role.
