Job Description
Are you passionate about sports nutrition, supplements, and helping others achieve their fitness goals? We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Sports Nutrition Store Advisor to join our team in Chelmsford. In this role, you will be the go-to expert for customers seeking advice on performance-enhancing supplements, recovery aids, and general sports nutrition. You will provide exceptional customer service, offer personalised recommendations, and drive sales through your expertise and passion. This is a commission-based role, rewarding your success in advising customers and growing our sports nutrition category.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with customers to understand their fitness goals and nutritional needs.
- Provide expert advice and recommendations on a wide range of sports nutrition products and supplements.
- Educate customers on product benefits, usage, and potential interactions.
- Actively participate in achieving and exceeding sales targets for sports nutrition products.
- Maintain a high level of product knowledge, staying up-to-date with industry trends and new product developments.
- Ensure the sports nutrition section is well-stocked, organised, and visually appealing.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system.
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues with professionalism and a positive attitude.
- Contribute to a positive store environment, working collaboratively with colleagues.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a retail sales environment, preferably with commission-based sales.
- Demonstrable knowledge and passion for sports nutrition, fitness, and dietary supplements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers.
- Strong customer service orientation and a proactive approach to sales.
- Ability to learn and retain detailed product information.
- Basic computer proficiency for POS systems.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
