Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a Work From Home (WFH) Pinterest Moderator, specializing in fostering a secure and positive online community environment. This role is crucial for maintaining brand safety, adhering to content guidelines, and ensuring a high-quality user experience across our Pinterest presence. You will be responsible for reviewing user-generated content, identifying and actioning policy violations, and actively contributing to a vibrant and respectful online space. This is a remote opportunity, allowing you to work from anywhere within the United States.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and moderate user-generated content on Pinterest in accordance with established community guidelines and brand safety policies.
- Proactively identify, review, and address content that violates policies, including spam, inappropriate material, misinformation, and other harmful content.
- Categorize and tag content for reporting and analysis purposes.
- Engage with the Pinterest community professionally and respectfully, providing support and clarification on moderation decisions when appropriate.
- Escalate complex moderation cases to senior moderators or relevant internal teams as needed.
- Stay informed about current social media trends, platform updates, and best practices in content moderation and online safety.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of moderation processes and guidelines.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding sensitive content and user data.
Required Skills
- Excellent written communication skills in English.
- Keen eye for detail and strong analytical abilities to identify nuanced policy violations.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
- Familiarity with Pinterest platform functionality and user interface.
- Strong ethical compass and commitment to maintaining a safe online community.
