Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Climate Analysis Data Entry Specialist to join our digital research team. This entry-level role is crucial for maintaining the integrity and accessibility of our extensive climate-related datasets. You will be responsible for accurately inputting, verifying, and managing environmental data, contributing directly to critical research initiatives focused on climate change and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately input and update large volumes of climate analysis data into designated databases and systems.
  • Verify data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency, identifying and correcting errors promptly.
  • Organize and maintain digital files, ensuring easy retrieval and proper categorization of information.
  • Collaborate with research scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and improve data entry processes.
  • Generate basic reports and summaries of data as requested by the research team.
  • Adhere strictly to data privacy and security protocols.
  • Assist in the digitalization of historical climate records and other relevant documents.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in data entry software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Basic understanding of data management principles.
