Job Description

Discovery is seeking an enthusiastic Online Content Creator to join our digital team, focusing specifically on content tailored for a teen audience. In this hybrid role based in Corona, California, you will be instrumental in developing, producing, and editing short-form video content, social media posts, and interactive experiences that capture the attention and imagination of today’s youth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and pitch fresh content ideas specifically targeting 16-year-old teens across various digital platforms (e.g., TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts).
- Edit raw footage into polished, engaging short-form videos, ensuring consistency with brand voice and current youth trends.
- Utilize editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) to enhance video quality, add visual effects, and optimize for platform-specific requirements.
- Collaborate with content strategists and marketing teams to ensure content aligns with campaign goals and audience insights.
- Stay current with emerging social media trends, popular challenges, and online youth culture to inform content creation.
- Manage content production timelines and deliver high-quality assets on schedule.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
