Job Description
As a WFH Dispatcher Assistant – Logistics Support (Remote) at FedEx, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our logistics network. This is a 100% remote position, allowing you to contribute to our dynamic team from the comfort of your home. You will support our dispatch operations by assisting with scheduling, communication, and problem-solving, helping to maintain our high standards of delivery performance and customer satisfaction. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced virtual environment. You will be a vital link between dispatchers, drivers, and customers, ensuring timely and accurate information flow.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist dispatchers with scheduling and routing of drivers and deliveries.
- Communicate effectively with drivers regarding schedules, routes, and potential delays.
- Monitor driver progress and provide real-time updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Handle incoming calls and emails from drivers and internal departments, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities, including manifests, logs, and incident reports.
- Utilize dispatch software and communication tools to optimize operational efficiency.
- Support the logistics team in various administrative tasks as needed.
- Contribute to a positive and productive remote work environment.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in using computer software, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Preferred Qualifications
