Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Bilingual AI Training Translator to join our remote team. In this critical WFH role, you will play a vital part in enhancing the linguistic capabilities of Google’s AI models. You will be responsible for translating, annotating, and reviewing diverse linguistic data, ensuring accuracy, cultural relevance, and high quality. This position requires native fluency in a target language (specific language to be determined based on project needs) and excellent English proficiency. You will work independently to meet project deadlines and contribute directly to the improvement of AI technologies that power our global products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate and annotate various types of data (text, audio, visual) to train and improve AI models.
  • Ensure linguistic accuracy, grammatical correctness, and cultural appropriateness of all translated content.
  • Provide constructive feedback and insights on AI model outputs and performance.
  • Adhere strictly to project guidelines, quality standards, and deadlines.
  • Maintain high levels of productivity and quality in a remote work environment.
  • Collaborate asynchronously with project managers and fellow linguists as needed.

Required Skills

  • Native fluency in a designated target language AND excellent proficiency in English (written and spoken).
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Proficient in using online tools and comfortable with new technologies.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills to work independently and remotely.
  • Strong understanding of linguistic nuances, grammar, and cultural contexts.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Translation, Communications, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in translation, localization, data annotation, or content review.
  • Familiarity with AI/Machine Learning concepts and large language models.
  • Experience working with content management systems or translation memory tools.
