Job Description

We are seeking a charismatic and customer-focused Barber Shop Host to join our vibrant team in Leeds. As the first point of contact for our valued clients, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming and efficient environment. This position is perfect for someone passionate about delivering outstanding service, managing client flow, and ensuring every visit to Everyman Barbers is a premium experience. While the role doesn’t require barbering skills, a keen interest in the grooming industry and a proactive approach to customer care are essential. Key Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet all clients upon arrival, making them feel welcome and comfortable.
  • Manage client check-ins, appointments, and walk-ins using our booking system.
  • Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and schedule appointments efficiently.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the reception area and waiting lounge.
  • Offer refreshments to clients and ensure their comfort throughout their visit.
  • Assist barbers with client transitions and ensure a smooth flow of service.
  • Process payments accurately and handle cash and card transactions.
  • Promote retail products and services, providing knowledgeable recommendations.
  • Handle client feedback and resolve minor issues with professionalism and grace.
  • Support the barbershop team with general administrative tasks as needed.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in a customer service role (at least 6 months).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
