Job Description
Join DPD as a Courier Assistant for a dynamic ride-along role based in Liverpool! This is an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to enter the logistics industry and learn the ropes of parcel delivery firsthand. You will work closely with experienced DPD couriers, assisting them with their daily routes, sorting parcels, and ensuring safe and efficient delivery to our customers. Key Responsibilities
- Assist couriers with loading and unloading parcels from delivery vehicles.
- Navigate routes efficiently, helping couriers to identify optimal delivery sequences.
- Ensure the safe handling and secure delivery of parcels to residential and business addresses.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, representing DPD professionally.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the delivery vehicle.
- Support couriers with administrative tasks, including scanning parcels and recording delivery information.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies at all times.
