Job Description
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented E-commerce Shopify Specialist to join our Vancouver team. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing, optimizing, and evolving our Shopify Plus platform to enhance the customer experience and drive online sales. You will work closely with marketing, product, and development teams to implement new features, manage content, and ensure the smooth operation of our e-commerce store. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain our Shopify Plus store, including product listings, collections, pages, and navigation.
- Implement and test new features, apps, and integrations to improve site functionality and user experience.
- Perform front-end updates and customizations using HTML, CSS, and Liquid to align with brand guidelines and campaign requirements.
- Monitor site performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement A/B tests to optimize conversion rates.
- Collaborate with marketing to launch promotions, campaigns, and content updates.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any e-commerce platform issues, ensuring minimal downtime and seamless customer journeys.
- Stay up-to-date with Shopify best practices, new features, and industry trends to recommend strategic enhancements.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of hands-on experience managing and optimizing Shopify Plus stores.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and Liquid (Shopify's templating language).
- Strong understanding of e-commerce best practices, UX/UI principles, and conversion optimization.
- Experience with Shopify apps, themes, and third-party integrations.
- Ability to analyze e-commerce data (e.g., Google Analytics) to inform decision-making.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience with JavaScript and API integrations.
- Familiarity with SEO principles and implementation on Shopify.
- Knowledge of digital marketing strategies (PPC, Email Marketing, Social Media).
- Experience in a fast-paced, agile, or startup environment.
