Job Description
Sutter Health is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our esteemed private practice in Roseville, California. This is an exceptional opportunity for an FNP committed to delivering patient-centered primary care services. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing a diverse patient panel, providing comprehensive health assessments, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care for individuals and families across the lifespan. Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive physical examinations and health assessments for patients of all ages.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and health conditions.
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests.
- Prescribe medications and other treatments in accordance with state and federal regulations and practice guidelines.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Provide health education and counseling to patients and their families on disease prevention and health promotion.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare team members.
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records (EHR).
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education activities.
Required Skills
- Current unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in California.
- Current California Nurse Practitioner (NP) license.
- National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP).
- DEA registration or eligible for registration.
- BLS certification.
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Excellent clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing (MSN/DNP).
- Prior experience in a private practice or outpatient clinic setting.
- Experience with EPIC EHR system.
- Bilingual proficiency (especially Spanish).
