Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented FedEx Custom Critical Aide with a High Level Support focus to join our team in Wesley Chapel, FL. In this pivotal role, you will provide advanced administrative and operational support to our Custom Critical operations, ensuring seamless coordination and execution of specialized freight movements. This position requires an individual who can handle complex inquiries, manage critical data, and proactively resolve issues, contributing significantly to our service reliability and customer satisfaction. You will be instrumental in maintaining the high standards of our expedited shipping services, working closely with various departments to optimize efficiency and respond to urgent demands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced administrative support to Custom Critical operations, including data entry, report generation, and document management with high accuracy.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for high-level inquiries from internal teams and external customers regarding specialized shipments, providing detailed information and solutions.
  • Monitor and track critical shipments, proactively identifying potential delays or issues and coordinating with dispatch and drivers for swift resolution.
  • Assist in the preparation of specialized shipping documentation, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and company standards.
  • Collaborate with sales, operations, and customer service teams to streamline processes and enhance service delivery for complex logistics challenges.
  • Manage and update critical incident logs, ensuring all high-priority events are documented and escalated appropriately.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives, offering insights and feedback to optimize operational workflows and customer experience.
  • Handle sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality and discretion.

Required Skills

  • 2+ years of experience in an administrative or operational support role, preferably within logistics or transportation.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly in data management and documentation.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to articulate complex information clearly.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with logistics software/CRM systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Problem-solving aptitude with a proactive approach to issue resolution.
  • High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience with FedEx systems and processes.
  • Familiarity with DOT regulations and specialized freight requirements (e.g., dangerous goods, temperature-controlled).
  • Certification in administrative support or project management.
