Job Description
FedEx Freight is seeking a dedicated and highly organized WFH Liaison with a strong focus on professional communication to join our remote team. This role is crucial for maintaining seamless information flow, fostering team cohesion, and ensuring all remote employees feel connected and supported within the FedEx Freight ecosystem. The successful candidate will act as a central point of contact, facilitating communication between remote teams, management, and various departments, specifically focusing on clarity, professionalism, and efficiency in all interactions. This is a 100% remote position designed to support our distributed workforce.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary communication hub for remote FedEx Freight team members, ensuring timely dissemination of critical information.
- Facilitate regular virtual meetings, workshops, and town halls, managing invitations, agendas, and follow-up communications.
- Develop and implement communication strategies to enhance engagement and collaboration among remote employees.
- Act as an advocate for remote team needs, relaying feedback and suggestions to management to improve remote work policies and tools.
- Assist in the onboarding process for new remote hires, ensuring they have the necessary resources and information.
- Maintain and update a centralized knowledge base or communication portal for remote teams.
- Provide support for communication tools and platforms, ensuring optimal functionality and user adoption.
- Prepare clear and concise reports on communication effectiveness and remote team engagement metrics.
- Proactively identify potential communication breakdowns and propose solutions.
Required Skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage and facilitate professional virtual meetings and events.
- Proficiency with remote collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Slack, SharePoint).
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.

- High level of professionalism and discretion.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a liaison, communication specialist, or remote team support role.
- Experience in the logistics, transportation, or freight industry.
- Familiarity with corporate communication policies and best practices.
