Job Description
Gracenote is seeking enthusiastic and detail-oriented Film & TV Show Raters to join our remote team, focusing specifically on content within the Netflix library. This is a unique opportunity for individuals with a passion for film and television to contribute to the global entertainment industry from the comfort of their home. This position is 100% remote. As a Film & TV Show Rater, you will play a crucial role in enhancing content discovery and user experience by meticulously reviewing, categorizing, and tagging a wide array of content. Your sharp eye for detail and comprehensive knowledge of the Netflix catalog will help ensure accurate and consistent metadata, guiding millions of viewers to their next favorite show or movie.
Key Responsibilities
- Watch and rate a high volume of film and TV content from the Netflix library.
- Apply detailed guidelines to categorize and tag content based on genre, themes, mood, and other metadata attributes.
- Provide objective and consistent ratings for content suitability, target audience, and overall quality.
- Identify and flag any discrepancies or inconsistencies in content metadata.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all content and internal processes.
- Adhere to daily and weekly productivity targets and quality standards.
Required Skills
- Fluent in English with excellent written communication skills.
- Deep passion for film and television, with extensive knowledge of the Netflix content library.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex guidelines precisely.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated, quiet home workspace.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications and web-based tools.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in content rating, quality assurance, or media analysis is a plus.
- Familiarity with various film and TV genres, international content, and cultural nuances.
