Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous and analytical Google Ads Auditor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting in-depth audits of Google Ads campaigns for our diverse client portfolio. Your primary objective will be to identify areas of inefficiency, opportunities for optimization, and ensure best practices are being followed to maximize campaign performance and return on investment. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a comprehensive understanding of the Google Ads platform. You will provide actionable insights and recommendations that directly impact client success, helping them to rank effectively and achieve their advertising goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive audits of existing Google Ads accounts, including search, display, video, and shopping campaigns.
  • Analyze campaign structure, keyword targeting, ad copy, landing page experience, bid strategies, and budget allocation.
  • Identify performance gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement based on client objectives and industry best practices.
  • Develop detailed audit reports with clear, data-driven findings and actionable recommendations.
  • Collaborate with account managers and PPC specialists to present audit findings and strategic recommendations to clients.
  • Stay up-to-date with Google Ads updates, new features, and changes in advertising best practices.
  • Contribute to the development of internal audit methodologies and tools.
  • Monitor competitive landscape and market trends to inform audit insights.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience managing and optimizing Google Ads campaigns.
  • Proficiency with Google Ads platform and its various campaign types.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and translate them into actionable insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting findings and recommendations.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for data analysis and reporting.
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics and other web analytics platforms.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple audit projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Google Ads Certifications (Search, Display, Shopping, Video).
  • Experience working in a digital marketing agency environment.
  • Knowledge of other paid media platforms (e.g., Microsoft Ads, Meta Ads).
  • Familiarity with A/B testing methodologies and conversion rate optimization (CRO) principles.
