Job Description
As a Google Knowledge Graph Associate, Data focus, Remote, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and relevance of information within Google’s Knowledge Graph. You will be responsible for reviewing, curating, and enhancing data across various domains, contributing directly to the quality of information users see in Search, Assistant, and other Google products. This is a remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere in the United States, with a strong emphasis on meticulous data handling and analytical thinking.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret complex data sets to identify trends, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement within the Knowledge Graph.
- Perform extensive research using various internal and external tools to validate and enrich entities and relationships.
- Curate, classify, and categorize information based on established guidelines and quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and policy specialists, to resolve data discrepancies and implement improvements.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Knowledge Graph policies, guidelines, and evolving data models.
- Participate in testing new features and tools designed to enhance data quality and workflow efficiency.
- Provide feedback on tooling and processes to continuously optimize data management operations.
- Ensure strict adherence to data privacy and security protocols.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Systems, Library Science, Linguistics, or equivalent practical experience).
- 1+ years of experience in data analysis, content curation, or quality assurance roles.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a strong analytical mindset.
- Proficiency in data research and validation using online tools and resources.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining high productivity.
- Familiarity with structured data concepts and databases.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with semantic web technologies or knowledge representation systems.
- Basic SQL or other query language proficiency.
- Understanding of web content classification and information retrieval principles.
- Ability to adapt to rapidly changing project requirements and learn new tools quickly.
