Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our team as Grocery Clerks / Stockers in Lethbridge, Alberta. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start their career in retail, as no prior experience is required. You will play a crucial role in maintaining store appearance, ensuring shelves are well-stocked, and providing friendly assistance to our customers. Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unpack, and stock merchandise on shelves, ensuring proper rotation and placement.
- Assist customers with locating products and provide courteous service.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including aisles and backroom areas.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks safely (training provided).
- Monitor product freshness, remove expired items, and report damages.
- Assist with inventory counts and participate in merchandising efforts.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines.
- Support fellow team members and contribute to a positive store atmosphere.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Capacity to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Team-oriented mindset and a positive attitude.

Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (not mandatory).
- Basic understanding of customer service principles.
- Previous experience in a physical labor role (e.g., warehouse, construction) is a plus but not required.
