Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Floor Plan Annotator to join our remote Construction Tech team. This is a 100% remote position. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately annotating and reviewing architectural and engineering floor plans using specialized software. Your work will directly contribute to the development and enhancement of our cutting-edge construction technology solutions, ensuring precision and reliability in all our data-driven products. The ideal candidate possesses a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of construction drawings, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately annotate and mark up floor plans, architectural drawings, and other construction documents based on specific guidelines and project requirements.
  • Ensure consistency and quality of annotations across various projects and datasets.
  • Utilize CAD, BIM viewer software, and proprietary annotation tools efficiently.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and software developers to clarify requirements and provide feedback on annotation processes.
  • Perform quality checks on annotated data to identify and correct discrepancies.
  • Maintain organized records of completed work and progress.
  • Adhere to project timelines and deliver high-quality work within established deadlines.

Required Skills

  • Proven proficiency in using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) or BIM viewing tools.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong understanding of architectural and construction drawings, symbols, and terminology.
  • Ability to interpret complex floor plans and technical documentation.
  • Excellent spatial reasoning and visual interpretation skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively and independently in a remote setting.
