Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet and welcome all guests upon arrival, ensuring a personalized check-in experience.

  • Manage reservations, check-ins, and check-outs efficiently and accurately, using property management systems.
  • Provide comprehensive information about hotel services, local attractions, and dining options.
  • Assist guests with luggage, transportation arrangements, and special requests to enhance their stay.
  • Process payments and maintain accurate guest accounts.
  • Collaborate with other departments (housekeeping, concierge, dining) to fulfill guest needs.
  • Uphold the highest standards of luxury service and brand presentation at all times.
  • Actively listen to guest feedback and seek opportunities to exceed expectations.
  • Adhere to all safety and security protocols.

Required Skills

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Proven ability to provide outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems, including property management software (e.g., Opera PMS).
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Professional demeanor and appearance suitable for a luxury environment.
  • Problem-solving aptitude with a calm and courteous approach.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a luxury hotel or high-end hospitality setting.
  • Multilingual abilities are a plus.
  • Knowledge of Rapid City and surrounding Black Hills attractions.
  • Certification in hospitality or customer service training.
