Job Description
This is an exceptional opportunity for experienced Independent Contractor Truck Drivers seeking freedom and flexibility. Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle in accordance with all DOT regulations.
- Plan and execute routes efficiently to meet delivery schedules.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, ensuring vehicle maintenance and safety.
- Secure and transport freight, ensuring its safe and timely delivery.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and submit all required documentation promptly.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and logistics teams.
Required Skills
- Valid Class A CDL.
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean driving record.
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screen.
- Own or lease a reliable tractor (details on equipment requirements will be provided).
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hazmat endorsement.
- TWIC card.
- Experience with various types of freight (e.g., dry van, reefer, flatbed).
- Strong business acumen for managing an independent operation.
