Job Description
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Interior Design Furniture Labeler to join our remote team. In this role, you will be instrumental in categorizing, tagging, and organizing our vast catalog of furniture and home decor products. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all items are accurately labeled with relevant interior design attributes, styles, materials, and other specifications to enhance our customer’s search and discovery experience. This is a crucial role that directly impacts the usability of our platform and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately categorize and label furniture items based on predefined interior design styles (e.g., Mid-Century Modern, Scandinavian, Industrial, Farmhouse).
- Identify and tag product attributes such as material (e.g., oak, velvet, metal), color, finish, and dimensions.
- Ensure consistency and adherence to company-wide labeling guidelines and taxonomies.
- Review and verify existing product labels for accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with the product and merchandising teams to understand new product introductions and labeling requirements.
- Provide feedback on labeling tools and processes for continuous improvement.
- Maintain high levels of productivity and data quality while working independently.
- Stay updated on current interior design trends and terminology.
Required Skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong understanding of various interior design styles and furniture terminology.
- Proficiency with computer systems and data entry tasks.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a remote workload effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in data entry, content moderation, or product catalog management.
- A background or keen interest in interior design, furniture retail, or art history.
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and product information management (PIM) systems.
- Basic knowledge of HTML or XML for data tagging (not required, but a plus).
