Job Description
Gannett is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Junior AI Content Creator to join our dynamic team in Downtown Pueblo, CO. This entry-level position is perfect for individuals passionate about digital content and eager to master the latest generative AI tools. You will work alongside experienced content strategists and journalists, learning to leverage AI for brainstorming, drafting, and optimizing various forms of content, including articles, social media posts, and promotional materials. This role offers hands-on training and a unique opportunity to kickstart a career at the intersection of journalism, marketing, and artificial intelligence. No prior professional experience in AI is required; we provide comprehensive training.
Key Responsibilities
- Learn and apply generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Jasper, Midjourney) for content creation and optimization under guidance.
- Assist in brainstorming content ideas and developing outlines using AI prompts.
- Draft, edit, and refine various content types (articles, social media updates, ad copy, etc.) with AI assistance.
- Collaborate with editorial and marketing teams to ensure content aligns with brand voice and strategic goals.
- Research and stay updated on emerging AI trends, tools, and best practices in content generation.
- Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance AI proficiency and content creation skills.
- Ensure all AI-generated content is accurate, fact-checked, and adheres to ethical guidelines.
