Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Economic Researcher to join our dynamic team in Boise. This entry-level position is perfect for recent graduates or individuals with limited professional experience who possess a strong interest in economic analysis and a desire to develop their quantitative skills. You will work closely with senior researchers and consultants, contributing to a wide range of projects involving economic modeling, data analysis, and market research. This role emphasizes hands-on training in various quantitative methods and tools, preparing you for a successful career in economic consulting and research.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in collecting, cleaning, and analyzing economic, financial, and market data from diverse sources.
- Support the development and implementation of quantitative models and statistical analyses under supervision.
- Prepare initial drafts of research reports, presentations, and memos, summarizing findings and insights.
- Conduct literature reviews and background research on various economic topics and industry trends.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance understanding of economic methodologies and consulting practices.
- Contribute to client deliverables and project proposals as part of a collaborative team.
- Learn and apply new analytical software and programming languages relevant to economic research (e.g., R, Python, Stata, SAS).
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
