Job Description

The University of South Florida invites ambitious and talented recent graduates to apply for the Junior Fellow – Recent Graduate Program within our Top Tier Research division. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist senior researchers in the design and execution of research experiments and studies.
  • Collect, organize, and analyze research data using established methodologies and software.
  • Contribute to literature reviews and the preparation of research proposals and reports.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of experimental procedures and results.
  • Participate in team meetings, seminars, and workshops to foster a collaborative research environment.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and ethical guidelines in research practices.
  • Prepare presentations and assist in the writing of manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed journals.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree obtained within the last 2 years in a relevant scientific discipline (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science, Public Health).
  • Demonstrated strong academic performance.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in data collection and basic statistical analysis.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
