Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and professional Luxury Van Chauffeur to join our dedicated team, focusing primarily on group transfers. This role is crucial in delivering the highest standard of luxury transportation service to our discerning guests. The ideal candidate will possess impeccable driving skills, a thorough understanding of local routes, and an unwavering commitment to safety and customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for transporting guests in our luxury vans for various group events, tours, and airport transfers, ensuring a smooth, timely, and comfortable journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate luxury passenger vans for group transfers to and from various destinations, including airports, event venues, and local attractions.
- Adhere to scheduled itineraries and adjust routes as necessary to avoid traffic and ensure timely arrivals.
- Provide exceptional customer service, assisting guests with luggage, opening doors, and ensuring their comfort throughout the journey.
- Maintain the pristine condition of the luxury vehicles, including regular cleaning and inspection before and after each trip.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, reporting any maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and trip records as required by company policy and regulatory standards.
- Demonstrate discretion and professionalism, respecting guest privacy at all times.
- Stay informed about local events, traffic conditions, and alternative routes to optimize travel efficiency.
- Comply with all traffic laws and company safety regulations.
Required Skills
- Minimum 3 years of professional chauffeur or commercial driving experience, with a focus on luxury or group transportation.
- Valid New Mexico Class A or B CDL with Passenger endorsement and a clean driving record.
- Excellent knowledge of Albuquerque and surrounding New Mexico areas, including major attractions, venues, and typical traffic patterns.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills, with a polished and professional demeanor.
- Ability to lift and load luggage (up to 50 lbs) and assist passengers with special needs.
- Strong commitment to punctuality, safety, and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using GPS and navigation systems.
- Must pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working within a luxury hotel or hospitality environment.
- First Aid and CPR certification.
- Advanced defensive driving course completion.
- Multilingual abilities are a plus.
