Insight Productions, a leader in Canadian media, is seeking a dynamic Music Video Production Assistant to join our fast-paced sets in Hamilton, Ontario. As a Music Video Production Assistant, you will be crucial to the smooth operation of our production sets. Your daily tasks will be diverse, ranging from managing logistics and equipment to providing essential support to the cast and crew. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to maintain composure under pressure. Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of production equipment and sets.
- Run errands and manage purchases for various production needs.
- Coordinate catering, craft services, and ensure timely meal breaks for cast and crew.
- Manage production supplies, including inventory and replenishment.
- Facilitate communication between different departments on set.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Provide general administrative support as required.
- Assist with crowd control and talent management during shoots.
- Handle releases and paperwork as directed by the production team.
Required Skills
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
- Proactive problem-solver with a strong work ethic.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift and move equipment (up to 25 lbs).
- Flexibility to work long hours, including evenings and weekends, as production schedules demand.
- Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience on a film, television, or music video set is a plus.
- A diploma or degree in Film, Television, Media Production, or a related field.
- Familiarity with production terminology and set etiquette.
- Basic knowledge of video production equipment.
