Job Description
We are seeking highly motivated and physically fit individuals to join our team as Container Unloaders. This is a crucial manual labour role within our fast-paced distribution centre in Bolton, Greater Manchester. You will be responsible for the efficient and safe unloading of goods from containers, ensuring accuracy and adherence to all health and safety guidelines. This position offers top-tier pay for dedicated individuals who are ready to work hard and be a key part of our operational success. No prior experience is required, as full training will be provided, but a strong work ethic and reliability are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Manually unload a variety of goods from shipping containers efficiently and safely.
- Sort and stack products onto pallets or into designated areas according to company procedures.
- Operate pallet trucks or other manual handling equipment as required (training provided).
- Verify quantities and check for damaged goods during the unloading process.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet daily targets.
- Report any discrepancies or issues with incoming shipments.
