Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior AI Podcast Editor to join our innovative audio team. This fully remote role is perfect for an emerging talent with a passion for sound, storytelling, and cutting-edge technology. You will play a crucial part in the production of high-quality podcasts, leveraging AI tools to enhance editing efficiency, sound design, and overall audio quality. Key Responsibilities

  • Edit raw podcast audio, including dialogue, music, and sound effects, to meet established quality standards and project deadlines.
  • Utilize AI-powered audio tools for tasks such as noise reduction, voice enhancement, transcription, and sound design assistance.
  • Perform audio mixing, mastering, and equalization to ensure consistent sound quality across all podcast episodes.
  • Collaborate with content creators, producers, and AI development teams to integrate new technologies into the podcast workflow.
  • Manage and organize audio assets, ensuring proper filing and version control.
  • Review and provide constructive feedback on audio content, ensuring accuracy and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Stay updated on the latest audio editing software, AI technologies, and podcast industry trends.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in digital audio workstations (DAWs) such as Adobe Audition, Audacity, Logic Pro X, or Pro Tools.
  • Basic understanding of audio editing principles, including equalization, compression, and noise reduction.
  • Demonstrated interest in artificial intelligence and its application in audio production.
  • Strong attention to detail and a keen ear for audio quality.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
  • Foundational understanding of podcast production workflows.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Audio Engineering, Music Production, Communications, or a related field.
  • Prior experience (academic or professional) with AI audio tools or machine learning concepts.
  • Experience contributing to podcast production or other audio-visual projects.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python) for basic automation tasks.
