Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Marketing Data Analyst with a strong focus on Consumer Insights to join our team in Naperville, IL. In this hybrid role, you will be instrumental in transforming raw marketing data into actionable insights that drive strategic decisions and enhance our understanding of consumer behavior. You will collaborate closely with marketing, product, and data science teams to measure campaign effectiveness, identify trends, and uncover opportunities to optimize our marketing efforts globally. Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze large datasets from various marketing channels (digital, social, traditional) to evaluate campaign performance and identify key drivers of success or areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize marketing KPIs, consumer trends, and campaign results, making them accessible and understandable to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses into consumer behavior, segmentation, and preferences to provide actionable insights that inform marketing strategy and product development.
  • Design, execute, and analyze A/B tests and other experimental designs to measure the impact of marketing initiatives and optimize user acquisition and engagement.
  • Collaborate with data engineering to ensure data integrity, accessibility, and efficient pipeline development for marketing analytics.
  • Present findings and recommendations to marketing leaders and cross-functional teams in a clear, concise, and compelling manner.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, data analysis best practices, and new analytical tools and technologies.

Required Skills

  • 3+ years of experience in a data analyst, business intelligence, or similar role, preferably in marketing or consumer insights.
  • Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
  • Strong experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI) to create insightful dashboards and reports.
  • Solid understanding of statistical analysis and experimental design (A/B testing).
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable business recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis and statistical modeling.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Marketing Analytics).
  • Experience with marketing attribution modeling and customer lifetime value (CLV) analysis.
  • Familiarity with marketing platforms and CRM systems (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, Salesforce).
  • Experience in the entertainment or streaming industry.
  • Knowledge of advanced analytical techniques such as machine learning for predictive modeling.
