Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Recruiter to join our Human Resources team in Rialto, CA. This office-based role is crucial for identifying, attracting, and hiring top nursing talent to support our growing healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the healthcare landscape, excellent communication skills, and a passion for connecting qualified nurses with rewarding career opportunities within Kaiser Permanente.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full recruitment life cycle for nursing positions, from sourcing and screening to offer negotiation and onboarding support.
- Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified nursing candidates.
- Conduct in-depth interviews, evaluate candidate qualifications, and present top talent to hiring managers.
- Collaborate closely with HR business partners and nursing leadership to understand staffing needs and position requirements.
- Utilize various recruitment tools and platforms, including ATS, job boards, social media, and professional networks.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of passive candidates for future openings.
- Provide an exceptional candidate experience, ensuring clear communication and timely feedback.
- Stay informed about current nursing trends, market compensation, and recruitment best practices.
- Participate in career fairs and recruitment events as needed.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of experience in nurse recruitment within a healthcare setting
- Proven ability to source, screen, and recruit high-volume nursing roles
- Strong understanding of HR principles and healthcare recruitment regulations
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
- Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment software
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an office environment
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
- Experience with diversity and inclusion sourcing strategies
- Knowledge of California nursing licensure and certification requirements
