Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Part-time Ticket Scanners to join our dynamic team for weekend concerts and events. As a Ticket Scanner, you will be the first point of contact for guests entering our venues, playing a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience. Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently scan and verify guest tickets using handheld scanning devices.
- Provide clear directions and information to guests regarding venue layout, seating, and event policies.
- Proactively address and resolve any ticket-related issues or direct guests to appropriate staff for assistance.
- Maintain a friendly, professional, and welcoming demeanor at all times.
- Ensure compliance with all venue security and safety protocols.
- Assist with crowd management and maintain orderly queues at entry points.
- Collaborate effectively with other event staff and security personnel.
Required Skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-focused attitude.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to quickly verify ticket information.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, often in varied weather conditions.
- Basic proficiency with technology, including handheld scanning devices (training provided).
- High level of reliability and punctuality, especially for weekend shifts.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer service, hospitality, or event-based role.
- Familiarity with various ticketing systems.
- Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish) is a plus.
