Job Description
Join Target as a Part-time Unskilled Worker for our fast-paced weekend operations in Arlington Heights. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking flexible work, offering immediate start positions with no prior experience required. You’ll play a crucial role in ensuring our store runs smoothly, providing essential support to various departments and contributing to a positive shopping environment for our guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with general merchandising tasks, including stocking shelves, organizing displays, and maintaining a clean sales floor.
- Help with basic store maintenance, such as cleaning spills, collecting shopping carts, and tidying common areas.
- Provide friendly and efficient support to guests by directing them to products or services, and assisting with basic inquiries.
- Support inventory management by assisting with product tagging, price checks, and backroom organization.
- Perform other general duties as assigned by store leadership to ensure operational efficiency during peak weekend hours.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 25 lbs, standing for extended periods, and moving quickly.
- Strong work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude.
- Reliability and punctuality, especially for scheduled weekend shifts.
- Basic communication skills to interact with team members and guests.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and store procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Prior experience in a customer service or retail environment (even informal or volunteer experience).
