Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Part-time Warehouse Sorter to join our Nampa fulfillment center team. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth flow of products through our warehouse, specifically focusing on weekend operations. You will be responsible for accurately sorting various items, maintaining a fast pace, and contributing to a safe and efficient work environment. This position offers a weekend schedule, ideal for those looking for supplementary income or flexible hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently sort and organize packages and products according to designated categories and destinations.
- Operate manual material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and hand trucks, safely and effectively.
- Inspect items for damage or discrepancies and report any issues to supervisors.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Meet or exceed productivity and accuracy targets in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout a shift.
- Capability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic computer literacy or experience with handheld scanning devices.
- Reliability and excellent punctuality.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic warehouse environment.
- Must be available to work weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday).
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing setting.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems or RF scanners.
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and workloads.
