Job Description
Join our dedicated team at BP as a Petrol Station Cashier for Night & Day Shifts in Birmingham. We are looking for reliable, customer-focused individuals to manage transactions, ensure station cleanliness, and provide exceptional service to our valued customers around the clock. This secure position offers a stable environment and the opportunity to be part of a global brand committed to safety and operational excellence. You will be responsible for cash handling, operating the till, stocking shelves, and maintaining a welcoming and secure environment for all patrons.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately process fuel and convenience store transactions using point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Handle cash, credit card, and mobile payments securely and efficiently.
- Reconcile cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts.
- Provide friendly, prompt, and efficient customer service.
- Assist customers with inquiries and resolve minor issues professionally.
- Monitor fuel pumps and forecourt for cleanliness and safety hazards.
- Restock shelves, fridges, and displays in the convenience store.
- Maintain a clean and organised cashier area and assist with general station tidiness.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including age-restricted sales.
- Respond to and report any security incidents or suspicious activities.
Required Skills
