Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Pharmacy Floor Coordinator with a strong focus on Warehouse & Logistics to join our dynamic team in Munich. In this critical on-site role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our pharmaceutical warehouse floor. You will coordinate daily logistics activities, maintain inventory accuracy, and ensure strict adherence to pharmaceutical storage and distribution regulations. This position requires a proactive individual who can optimize workflows, manage resources effectively, and contribute to a compliant and safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of pharmaceutical products.
  • Ensure compliance with Good Distribution Practices (GDP) and other relevant regulatory standards for pharmaceutical products.
  • Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular cycle counts, and investigate discrepancies to maintain accurate stock records.
  • Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., quality assurance, supply chain) and external logistics partners.
  • Optimize warehouse layout and processes for efficiency and safety.
  • Train and supervise junior warehouse staff on best practices and safety protocols.
  • Operate and maintain warehouse equipment safely and effectively.
  • Prepare and review documentation for shipments, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Implement and enforce company safety policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the warehouse and logistics functions.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in warehouse operations, particularly in a pharmaceutical or highly regulated environment.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control principles.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in using standard office software (e.g., MS Office Suite).
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a warehouse setting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Pharmacy, or a related field.
  • Certification in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Warehouse Management.
  • Experience with SAP or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.
  • Familiarity with cold chain management for pharmaceutical products.
  • Ability to speak German is a plus, but not required.
