Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and organized Filing & Post Room Clerk to join our team in Calgary. You will be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing mail, maintaining meticulous filing systems, and providing essential administrative support to various departments. Key Responsibilities

  • Sort, open, and distribute incoming mail and packages to appropriate departments and personnel.
  • Prepare outgoing mail and packages for dispatch, including weighing, franking, and arranging couriers.
  • Maintain and organize physical and digital filing systems, ensuring documents are accurately categorized and easily retrievable.
  • Perform regular audits of filing systems to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Assist with scanning, photocopying, and data entry tasks as required.
  • Manage office supplies for the post room and filing areas, ensuring adequate stock levels.
  • Provide general administrative support to various departments as needed.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding document handling and confidentiality.
  • Operate and maintain post room equipment, including franking machines and printers.

Required Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office Suite, email).
  • Ability to lift and move packages up to 25 lbs.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Reliable and punctual.

Preferred Qualifications
