Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate reach trucks and other material handling equipment (MHE) to load, unload, stack, and retrieve materials, parts, and products within the warehouse.
- Conduct daily pre-operation equipment checks and report any mechanical issues or safety hazards promptly.
- Accurately pick, put away, and relocate inventory in designated locations, ensuring proper product rotation and optimal space utilization.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, strictly adhering to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Assist with inventory counts and participate in cycle counting, helping to resolve discrepancies as needed.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to optimize workflow, achieve daily operational targets, and improve overall efficiency.
- Handle fragile and valuable items with extreme care to prevent damage.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding warehouse operations and MHE usage.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (1+ year) operating reach trucks in a fast-paced warehouse or distribution center environment.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols and powered industrial truck operation guidelines.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all inventory handling and documentation tasks.
- Capability to work independently with minimal supervision and effectively as part of a team.
- Must be able to work the night shift schedule, which may include weekends and holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
- Current or previous certification in reach truck operation (OSHA compliant).
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and RF scanning devices.
- Previous experience working in an Amazon fulfillment or distribution center.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to operational challenges.
- Ability to adapt to changing work priorities and thrive in a dynamic environment.
