Job Description

Medical City Plano is seeking a welcoming and organized Receptionist for casual part-time weekend work. This role is essential for creating a positive first impression for patients, visitors, and staff, ensuring smooth operations during critical weekend hours. You will be the friendly face and voice of our facility, managing front desk activities, assisting with inquiries, and providing administrative support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet and direct patients, visitors, and vendors upon arrival.
  • Answer incoming calls with professionalism, direct them appropriately, and take messages when necessary.
  • Manage the reception area, ensuring it remains tidy, organized, and presentable.
  • Provide general information about the facility and services offered.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
  • Assist with various administrative tasks as needed, including data entry and filing.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.
  • Operate office equipment such as multi-line phone systems, computers, and printers.
