Job Description
Join Unilever, a global leader in consumer goods, as our Remote Instagram Community Manager. This is a 100% remote opportunity where you will be instrumental in cultivating and expanding our brand’s presence on Instagram. We’re looking for a passionate individual who lives and breathes social media, particularly Instagram, and can authentically connect with our audience. As the Remote Instagram Community Manager, you will be the voice of our brand across our Instagram channels. You will manage daily interactions, foster a vibrant community, and contribute to our overall social media strategy from anywhere. This role requires a proactive approach to engagement, a keen eye for trending content, and a commitment to maintaining our brand’s unique tone and style.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively monitor and engage with comments, messages, and mentions on Instagram, ensuring timely and on-brand responses.
- Collaborate with the content team to plan and execute engaging Instagram content strategies.
- Identify and engage with key influencers, brand advocates, and relevant communities to expand our reach.
- Monitor Instagram trends, hashtags, and competitive activities to inform strategy.
- Provide regular reports on community sentiment, engagement metrics, and growth.
- Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity across all Instagram interactions.
- Assist in crisis management and reputation monitoring on the platform as needed.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of experience managing Instagram communities for a brand or public figure.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a strong command of English.
- Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
- Creative mindset with an understanding of what makes content shareable and engaging.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- Experience managing communities on other social media platforms (e.g., TikTok, Facebook).
- Basic graphic design or video editing skills for quick content adaptations.
- Previous experience within the Consumer Goods (CPG) industry.
