Job Description
Are you a friendly, enthusiastic individual looking to make a positive impact during the festive season? Target is seeking a cheerful Retail Greeter to join our team in Portland, ME, for the busy holiday peak period. As a Greeter, you’ll be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their shopping experience with your warm welcome and helpful demeanor. This temporary role is perfect for someone who loves interacting with people and thrives in a fast-paced, festive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet all guests entering and exiting the store with a friendly demeanor.
- Provide directions and assistance to guests, helping them navigate departments or locate specific products.
- Maintain a positive, approachable, and welcoming presence at the store entrance.
- Assist with cart retrieval and ensure a smooth flow of traffic within the store entrance area.
- Support store operations during high-traffic periods, contributing to a pleasant shopping experience for all guests.
- Answer basic guest inquiries and efficiently direct more complex questions to appropriate team members.
