Job Description
We are seeking highly motivated and detail-oriented RF Scanner Order Pickers to join our fast-paced fulfillment center team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking customer orders using an RF scanner, ensuring products are correctly retrieved and prepared for shipment. This is an immediate hire position perfect for individuals who thrive in a high-energy environment and are ready to contribute to efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate an RF scanner to accurately locate and pick products from warehouse shelves based on order sheets.
- Ensure the correct quantity and type of items are selected for each customer order.
- Place picked items onto conveyor belts or in designated containers for further processing.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, stooping, and standing for extended periods.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed to support overall operational goals.
Required Skills
- Ability to read and understand English.
- Basic computer literacy for operating RF scanners (training provided).
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 49 lbs.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience operating an RF scanner or similar warehouse equipment.
- Prior experience in a warehouse, logistics, or fulfillment center setting.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
