Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Onboarding Lead with a deep focus on Google SaaS solutions to join our dynamic team. This is a 100% remote position. In this role, you will be instrumental in guiding new clients through the technical onboarding process for various Google SaaS products, ensuring a seamless and successful integration. You will serve as a primary technical point of contact, providing expert guidance, troubleshooting, and best practices to accelerate client time-to-value. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical acumen, exceptional communication skills, and a proven track record in managing complex client relationships and project delivery within a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead technical onboarding for clients utilizing Google SaaS products (e.g., Google Workspace, Google Cloud Platform services, Apigee, Looker, etc.) from initial setup to full adoption.
  • Develop and execute customized onboarding plans tailored to client needs and technical requirements.
  • Act as the primary technical subject matter expert for Google SaaS solutions, providing in-depth product knowledge and architectural guidance.
  • Collaborate closely with sales, product, engineering, and support teams to ensure a cohesive client experience.
  • Provide technical troubleshooting, configuration assistance, and best practice recommendations to overcome integration challenges.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, knowledge base articles, and training materials for clients and internal teams.
  • Conduct technical workshops and training sessions for clients to empower them in managing and utilizing Google SaaS effectively.
  • Monitor and report on client onboarding progress, identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Gather client feedback to contribute to product improvements and service enhancements.
  • Ensure client satisfaction and successful technical adoption of Google SaaS solutions.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience (5+ years) in a technical onboarding, solutions architect, or technical account management role with a focus on SaaS products.
  • Deep technical expertise and hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Google Workspace solutions.
  • Strong understanding of cloud architecture, APIs, data integration, and security best practices.
  • Excellent client-facing communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to manage multiple client engagements simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in technical troubleshooting and problem-solving.
  • Experience with scripting (e.g., Python, JavaScript) for automation is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Google Cloud certifications (e.g., Professional Cloud Architect, Professional Collaboration Engineer, Professional Data Engineer).
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
  • Experience working in a consulting or professional services environment.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies.
  • Knowledge of CRM and project management tools (e.g., Salesforce, Jira).
