Job Description
We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated Part-Time Sterilization Technician to join our team at Nail Garden in Downey. This vital role is at the heart of our commitment to client safety and hygiene. The Sterilization Tech will be responsible for ensuring all nail care tools and equipment are thoroughly cleaned, disinfected, and sterilized according to strict industry standards and company protocols. Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive cleaning, disinfection, and sterilization of all reusable nail tools and equipment (e.g., nippers, pushers, files, buffers) using autoclaves and other approved methods.
- Maintain accurate logs of sterilization cycles and equipment maintenance.
- Organize and stock sterilized tools efficiently in designated areas.
- Monitor and manage inventory of sterilization supplies, notifying management when reordering is necessary.
- Ensure all sterilization equipment is functioning correctly and report any malfunctions immediately.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations and company policies.
- Assist with general salon cleanliness and organization as needed to support a pristine environment.
- Educate team members on best practices for tool handling and storage.
- Conduct regular checks to ensure all workstations meet hygiene standards.
