Job Description
Are you an energetic individual who enjoys working outdoors and staying active? Tesco in Exeter is seeking a dedicated Trolley Collection Hand to join our friendly team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring our customers have a smooth and convenient shopping experience by keeping our car park tidy and our trolleys readily available. This is a hands-on position that requires physical fitness, reliability, and a commitment to customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect shopping trolleys from various points in the car park and return them to designated bays or store entrances.
- Ensure the car park remains clear of litter and other obstructions.
- Assist customers with trolley-related inquiries or issues when needed.
- Report any damaged trolleys or car park hazards to a supervisor promptly.
- Maintain a safe working environment for both customers and colleagues.
- Work efficiently and independently to meet collection targets.
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and company policies.
Required Skills
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Good physical fitness and ability to push/pull multiple trolleys.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Basic communication skills.

- Previous experience in a similar outdoor or retail environment.
