Job Description
Join the RONA team as a Wall Mounting Specialist, where you will play a crucial role in delivering professional installation services to our valued customers. This position requires precision, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety and customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for accurately and securely mounting a variety of items, including pictures, mirrors, shelves, and other wall decor, ensuring a high-quality finish and a seamless customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute precise and secure installation of various wall-mounted items such as pictures, mirrors, shelves, and art pieces.
- Accurately measure, level, and position items according to client specifications and safety standards.
- Select and utilize appropriate tools, hardware, and techniques based on wall materials (drywall, plaster, concrete, tile, studs).
- Ensure the structural integrity and stability of all mounted items.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area during and after installations.
- Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and addressing concerns professionally.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company guidelines.
- Complete necessary paperwork and documentation for each job.
Required Skills
- Proficiency with various hand and power tools (drills, levels, stud finders, measuring tapes).
- Solid understanding of different wall construction materials and their respective mounting requirements.
- Excellent measuring, leveling, and spatial reasoning skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction.
- Physical ability to lift and maneuver objects, climb ladders, and perform tasks requiring dexterity.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar role within construction, handyman services, or professional installation.
- A valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
- Basic knowledge of interior design principles for optimal item placement.
- Certification or training in a related trade (e.g., carpentry, general renovation).
