Job Description
Are you passionate about health, wellness, and fitness? Do you have a knack for writing and a desire to learn the ins and outs of digital content creation and SEO? Myprotein is looking for a motivated Wellness Blogger Trainee to join our remote content team. This entry-level role is perfect for someone eager to start their career in content marketing, with a specific focus on search engine optimization (SEO) to help our articles reach a wider audience. You will work closely with experienced content creators and SEO specialists, gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced, innovative environment. This is a 100% remote position, offering the flexibility to work from your home.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough research on wellness, nutrition, fitness, and lifestyle topics to create engaging and accurate content.
- Write and edit blog posts, articles, and other digital content in line with Myprotein's brand voice and content strategy.
- Learn and apply SEO best practices, including keyword research, on-page optimization, and content structuring to improve search rankings.
- Collaborate with the SEO team to implement content briefs and optimize existing articles for improved performance.
- Assist in managing content calendars and ensuring timely delivery of articles.
- Proofread and fact-check content to maintain high quality and accuracy standards.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, search algorithm changes, and competitor strategies.
- Participate in content brainstorming sessions and contribute fresh ideas.
Required Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- A strong interest in health, wellness, nutrition, or fitness.
- Basic understanding of SEO principles or a strong desire to learn.
- Ability to conduct thorough research and synthesize complex information.
- Proficiency in using word processing software (e.g., Google Docs, Microsoft Word).
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently in a remote setting.
