Job Description
Are you meticulous, handy, and passionate about ensuring furniture perfection? IKEA UK is seeking a dedicated Sofa Leg & Cover Fitter to join our services team in Kingston upon Hull. In this direct start role, you will be responsible for the precise fitting of sofa legs and covers for our customers, ensuring high-quality standards and complete customer satisfaction. This is an essential role in delivering the final touch to our beloved IKEA sofas, directly impacting our customers’ comfort and enjoyment of their new furniture. Key Responsibilities
- Travel to customer homes within Kingston upon Hull and surrounding areas to perform fitting services.
- Accurately assemble and securely fit sofa legs according to product specifications and safety guidelines.
- Carefully attach and adjust sofa covers, ensuring a perfect, wrinkle-free fit and aesthetic appeal.
- Conduct pre-fitting inspections and post-fitting quality checks to guarantee customer satisfaction.
- Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and ensuring a positive experience.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area within customer homes.
- Manage and organize fitting tools and equipment effectively.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
