Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and vigilant Event Security personnel to join our casual shifts team for major concerts and events across Doncaster and the wider South Yorkshire region. This role is perfect for individuals looking for flexible work, passionate about live events, and dedicated to maintaining a safe environment. You will be a crucial part of our front-line team, responsible for the safety and enjoyment of thousands of attendees. Key Responsibilities
- Conducting thorough bag and body searches as required for entry.
- Managing queues and directing patrons efficiently and courteously.
- Monitoring crowd behavior and responding to incidents calmly and effectively.
- Patrolling designated areas to ensure safety and security.
- Providing excellent customer service, offering assistance and directions.
- Enforcing venue policies and regulations.
- Working effectively as part of a team with other security personnel and event staff.
- Reporting any security incidents or concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
Required Skills
- Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence is essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
- A proactive and responsible approach to security.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and navigate large event spaces.
- Customer-focused attitude.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in event security or a similar customer-facing role.
- First Aid qualification (current or willingness to obtain).
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures related to events.
