Key Responsibilities
- Assist in collecting, cleaning, and preprocessing large datasets from various sources.
- Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Support the development and implementation of machine learning models under guidance.
- Contribute to the creation of reports and dashboards to visualize data and communicate findings.
- Collaborate with senior data scientists and cross-functional teams to understand project requirements.
- Participate in training sessions and continuous learning initiatives to enhance data science skills.
- Document processes, methodologies, and model specifications.
- Help maintain and improve existing data pipelines and analytical tools.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of statistical concepts and data analysis principles.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language commonly used in data science (e.g., Python or R).
- Familiarity with SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- Exposure to machine learning concepts and algorithms (e.g., regression, classification).
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib, Seaborn).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
- Any personal projects or online courses demonstrating interest in data science.
